Five Kings is a challenging melding card game designed to be played either solo or in competition with friends.

The game consists of 11 rounds where players face off against the computer and/or human opponents. The ultimate goal is to achieve the lowest score by the game's conclusion.

The gameplay kicks off with the round of 3's, introducing players to 3 cards with 3's acting as wild cards alongside Jokers. The final round, the round of Kings, features 13 cards with Kings designated as wild.

In each turn, players have the option to draw from either the Draw or Discard pile, meld their cards by dragging them to the designated area on the screen, and discard a card to the Discard pile.

Melds can consist of 3 or more cards of the same rank or 3 or more cards in a sequential order, accommodating any number of wild cards at the player's discretion.

When a player successfully melds all their cards, they are deemed "out," earning a round score of 0. The remaining players have an additional turn to enhance their hands before the conclusion of the round. At this point, each player's round score is calculated as the sum of unmelded cards. Regular cards contribute their face value while unmelded wild cards carry a value of 20, and unmelded Jokers are valued at 50.

Five Kings offers five distinct game difficulty levels ranging from Beginner, where guidance and hints are provided by the game, to Challenging, pitting players against an Expert without any assistance. Even when facing an Easy opponent who may introduce wild cards frequently, mastering skills and strategic thinking is essential for consistent victories against seasoned rivals.
